Four-Wheeler Crashes on City Streets Can Cause Serious Injuries
Four-wheelers can leave riders exposed during a crash. Unlike cars, they do not have seat belts, airbags, or a closed frame. This can make injuries more severe when a rider is hit by a larger vehicle.
Crashes involving four-wheelers may also affect traffic because the scene can spread across part of an intersection. Emergency units may need room to check the rider, move damaged vehicles, and keep other drivers away from the area.
Even when only one person is reported hurt, these crashes can require a careful medical response. Head injuries, broken bones, and internal injuries may not be clear right away. Early updates often focus on the person’s condition and whether hospital care is needed.
