Tucson, AZ (January 25, 2026) – A collision resulting in at least one injury was reported on Saturday evening at the intersection of W Congress St and N Granada Ave in downtown Tucson.
The crash occurred just before 6:50 p.m., prompting a swift response from the Tucson Fire Department and local law enforcement. Emergency personnel arrived at the scene by 6:54 p.m. to evaluate those involved. At least one person sustained injuries and received treatment on-site, with further medical transport arranged as needed.
Traffic through the intersection was temporarily disrupted while emergency crews worked to assist the injured and remove vehicles from the scene. The area, located near key downtown landmarks and frequently traveled routes, experienced short-term congestion as a result.
Tucson Police are actively investigating the cause of the collision. Factors such as right-of-way violations, distraction, or impaired driving are under consideration.
