Riverside, CA (January 25, 2026) – A tragic collision involving a bicyclist and a passenger vehicle claimed the life of a woman Saturday morning in a residential area of Riverside. The incident occurred at the intersection of Krameria Ave and Reiner Cir around 9:38 a.m. on January 24 and involved a black Audi with license plate 9UOR153.
According to reports from the California Highway Patrol Riverside Division, the bicyclist—a 61-year-old woman—was struck by the Audi under still-undetermined circumstances. The woman, identified as the wife of the reporting party, sustained life-threatening injuries. Despite initial transport to Riverside Community Hospital (RCH) and coordination with emergency personnel from CAL FIRE and AMR, she was later confirmed deceased.
Traffic in the area was disrupted as investigators worked at the scene, documenting evidence and coordinating with tow services. The extent of the Audi driver’s involvement is still under review, and no arrests or citations have been reported at this time.
Officials have not publicly released the victim’s name as they continue to notify next of kin. The investigation remains active as authorities seek to understand the full circumstances of the crash.
