St. Petersburg, FL (January 26, 2026) – A traffic accident with injuries occurred Monday at the intersection of 77th Ave N and 4th St N in St. Petersburg, prompting a road closure and trauma alert response. The collision resulted in multiple injuries, with one individual suffering serious trauma.
Emergency responders rushed to the scene and provided immediate aid to the injured. Among the victims was a woman named Heather, who reportedly sustained the most severe injuries, including a head laceration. She was stabilized and transported to a trauma center for further treatment. At least one good Samaritan, identified as John Forte, stopped to assist before rescue crews arrived.
Due to the severity of the crash and emergency response operations, 4th St N was temporarily shut down. Authorities remained at the scene to manage traffic, assist the injured, and begin their investigation.
