Olympia, WA (January 26, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a two-car collision Sunday on the southbound side of State Route 101 near milepost 367 in Olympia, resulting in injuries.
The incident occurred on January 25 and brought units from the Washington State Patrol and the Olympia Fire Department to the scene. Although both vehicles came to rest on the right shoulder and traffic was not obstructed, at least one individual was reported injured.
Medics on site assisted the injured parties. The exact number of people hurt and the severity of the injuries have not been confirmed. It is also unclear whether any of the individuals required hospital transport.
Officials are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash. Drivers are reminded to remain alert when passing stopped vehicles on the shoulder, especially when emergency personnel are on scene.
