Lacey, WA (January 26, 2026) – A Monday morning traffic collision at the intersection of Ruddell Rd and Lacey Blvd led to injuries and a complete blockage of the intersection during the early commute.

The incident occurred on January 26 at approximately 6:54 a.m. Emergency crews responded to the scene where a two-vehicle crash had obstructed the entire intersection. Medical responders treated at least one person for injuries.

Authorities worked quickly to clear the vehicles and restore traffic flow in the area. The roadway was reopened after the scene was secured and hazards were removed.

Officials are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash. We’re thankful the injuries were not more severe and send our best to those affected.
