Reston, VA (January 26, 2026) – Two people were injured in a vehicle accident Sunday evening near the intersection of Sunrise Valley Dr and Roland Clarke Pl in Reston, prompting a response from local police and emergency crews.
The crash was initially detected through an iPhone crash notification alert, with units self-dispatching to the scene around 8:14 p.m. Upon arrival, responders confirmed that two individuals had been involved in the collision and were being transported to Tysons ER for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident involved an SUV that required towing from the scene. Authorities did not release additional information about how the accident occurred or whether other vehicles were involved.
Emergency personnel remained on scene to assist with cleanup and ensure the area was cleared for traffic.
