Colorado Springs, CO (January 26, 2026) – Emergency crews responded on Sunday evening to a traffic collision involving two vehicles on the southbound side of Interstate 25 near the Bijou Street exit in Colorado Springs.
The incident occurred on January 25 and was first reported just before 6:40 p.m. According to dispatch communications, one vehicle was partially obstructing the right lane, while the second came to rest off the main roadway. AMR 64 and Engine 3 provided on-site medical assistance to one patient.
Responders confirmed the individual received care at the scene, and no further assistance was required. Police were called to the location shortly after the fire and EMS teams arrived to help manage traffic flow and complete their investigation.
Authorities have not released the cause of the crash or details regarding the people involved. However, the area was temporarily affected while emergency units repositioned vehicles and ensured safety along the shoulder of the interstate.
