Cypress, CA (January 29, 2026) – A traffic collision in Cypress on Wednesday night left at least one person injured, prompting a response from emergency crews to the scene near 4951 Katella Ave in western Orange County.
The crash occurred shortly after 10:05 p.m., drawing local fire and medical personnel to the area. Medics provided treatment to at least one injured party before transporting them to a nearby hospital for additional care. The condition of the injured individual has not been made public.
According to preliminary reports, the crash involved two vehicles that collided in the eastbound lanes of Katella Ave near a commercial area. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage, and debris blocked a portion of the road while responders worked to assist those involved and restore traffic flow.
