Shreveport, LA (January 31, 2026) – A pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run collision near Mission St and Texas Ave in Shreveport, according to emergency radio traffic. The incident occurred around 3:50 PM near the Holy Mission Church of God and involved a vehicle that fled the scene following the impact.
Rescue units and paramedics from Shreveport Fire Department responded quickly, arriving to find a 58-year-old female pedestrian with visible injuries. The victim was reportedly suffering from left leg pain and abrasions to her forearm and was unable to walk. EMS personnel provided on-site care and prepared the woman for transport to a local hospital for further evaluation.
The vehicle involved was described as a white car, which reportedly left the area immediately after striking the pedestrian. Officers were notified of the fleeing vehicle, and an investigation is underway to identify the driver and determine the events leading up to the crash.
