Why Multi-Vehicle Crashes Often Result in Multiple Injuries
Crashes involving multiple vehicles can lead to a wide range of injuries because impacts are distributed across multiple vehicles. When more than one car is involved, each collision can add force, increasing the severity of harm to occupants.
Intersections like Windsor Avenue and Route 218 often carry steady traffic, which can raise the chance of overlapping vehicle movements. When drivers enter or exit at different speeds, it can reduce reaction time and create sudden impacts.
Even at moderate speeds, multiple impacts can occur in quick succession. This can cause different injury levels among those involved, depending on seating position, vehicle size, and point of impact.
