What Happens When People Are Trapped After a Car Crash
In some crashes, vehicle damage can prevent occupants from exiting on their own. This can happen when doors are jammed or the car’s structure is bent from impact.
Emergency crews may use specialized tools to remove parts of the vehicle and safely reach those inside. This process can take time, depending on the severity of the damage.
Fires can sometimes occur after a crash due to fuel leaks or electrical issues. A quick response to contain flames is necessary to prevent further harm and allow safe rescue efforts.
