Maine Prairie Township, MN (August 16, 2026) – A collision between a motorcycle and a Jeep left a 44-year-old motorcyclist injured on Friday afternoon, August 14, at Highway 15 and 135th Street in Maine Prairie Township. The incident was reported at approximately 3:33 p.m.
According to the incident report, a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee was southbound on Highway 15 and turning onto 135th Street when it collided with a 2015 Victory Cross Country traveling southbound on the highway. The motorcycle rider, Andrew Allen Guth of Kimball, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to St. Cloud Hospital.
The Jeep driver, 24-year-old Tristin Owen Emholtz of Becker, was not injured. His 23-year-old passenger, Taylor Lyn Emholtz, also escaped injury. The roadway was dry at the time of the collision. Our thoughts are with the injured motorcyclist as he continues to recover.
