Venice, FL (January 31, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision at the intersection of S Jackson Rd and E Venice Ave on January 30 left multiple people with injuries and prompted a swift emergency response.
Crews with Sarasota County Fire Department Station 21 arrived at the crash site just before 6 p.m. and began assisting those involved. The collision caused visible damage to the vehicles, and several occupants required immediate medical attention.
Responders worked to assess and stabilize the injured at the scene. Though specific injury counts have not been confirmed publicly, medics transported at least one person to a nearby medical facility for further care.
The accident occurred on January 30 and caused temporary congestion in the area as emergency personnel secured the scene and worked to clear the roadway. Investigators also began reviewing factors that may have contributed to the incident.
