North Hollywood, CA (February 1, 2026) – Emergency responders were called to the scene of a serious head-on collision involving two vehicles on Cahuenga Boulevard Saturday afternoon. The crash occurred around 4:49 p.m. on January 31 and left three individuals injured, including one who required immediate medical attention.
Paramedics, along with L.A. County and Metro fire units, arrived swiftly at the scene and began providing care to those involved. First responders confirmed that one victim sustained critical injuries, while two others suffered delayed, less severe injuries. Crews from Urban Search and Rescue (USAR 88), EMS 14, and Life Force 98 worked together to safely extricate the most seriously injured occupant from one of the vehicles.
The crash took place along a stretch of Cahuenga Blvd in the North Hollywood area—an area known for sharp curves and limited visibility in certain sections. Heavy rescue services were initially requested but later canceled after successful extrication was completed on-site.
The cause of the head-on crash has not yet been confirmed, and investigators are reviewing evidence to determine contributing factors. All three individuals were treated at the scene, and at least one was likely transported for additional medical care.
We extend our thoughts to the injured victims and their families and wish them a full and timely recovery.
