Van Nuys, CA (February 1, 2026) – A pedestrian was seriously injured Friday night after being struck by a vehicle in the 7300 block of Balboa Boulevard near Sherman Way in the Van Nuys neighborhood of Los Angeles. The accident occurred at approximately 8:45 p.m. on January 30 and drew a coordinated emergency response from local police and fire units.
First responders, including officers from the Los Angeles Police Department and medics from the Los Angeles Fire Department, arrived quickly to assess the situation. The pedestrian, whose identity has not been released, was found injured at the scene and was promptly evaluated by paramedics.
