Yuba County, CA (February 2, 2026) – A serious traffic collision involving multiple vehicles left several people with a variety of injuries late Sunday night in Yuba County. The crash occurred at approximately 10:37 p.m. on February 1 near the intersection of State Route 20 and Humphrey Rd, an area that can be impacted by reduced visibility and rural roadway conditions.
Information from the scene indicates that two vehicles were involved in the collision, with at least one coming to rest off the roadway. Individuals inside the vehicles were initially reported as not moving, prompting an urgent medical response. Emergency responders from the area, along with paramedics, arrived to assess and treat those injured. Due to the seriousness of the injuries, at least one victim was transported by ground ambulance to UC Davis Medical Center after air transport was ruled out because of fog.
The crash caused significant disruption along westbound SR-20, including lane blockages and damage to nearby infrastructure. Crews worked through the night to secure the scene and remove damaged vehicles.
