Los Angeles, CA (February 2, 2026) – A serious traffic collision involving multiple vehicles resulted in a variety of injuries early Monday morning in Los Angeles. The crash occurred shortly after midnight on February 2 along southbound US-101 at the Balboa Blvd on-ramp, a heavily traveled stretch of freeway connecting the San Fernando Valley to surrounding areas.
Initial reports indicate that at least two vehicles were involved in the collision. One vehicle, identified as a white Tesla, traveled down an embankment after leaving the roadway, while another vehicle was left blocking travel lanes. One of the people involved was reported injured and unable to safely exit their vehicle following the crash.
Emergency responders from the area arrived to find lanes blocked and traffic stopped as paramedics worked to assist those hurt. Medical personnel provided care to injured individuals at the scene, addressing a range of injuries before additional treatment could be arranged. The crash caused significant traffic disruption as responders worked to secure the area and clear damaged vehicles.
