Lincoln Co, MO (February 3, 2026) – An evening accident on Monday resulted in injuries to multiple occupants along a stretch of northbound US-61 in Lincoln County. The incident took place around 6:20 p.m. just south of Creech Ln, drawing a response from emergency medical services in the area.
Information released indicates that two vehicles were traveling northbound at the time of the accident, including a 2026 Kia Sportage and a 2004 International 9900ix. While both vehicles were moving in the same direction, they became involved in an accident that caused minor damage. The Kia sustained enough impact to require towing from the scene, while the second vehicle was able to depart under its own power.
Medical personnel evaluated those involved and assisted several individuals who suffered a variety of injuries. The driver of the Kia, a 33-year-old male, along with a 32-year-old female passenger and a 7-year-old boy, were transported by Lincoln County Ambulance District to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis for further treatment. No injuries were reported for the driver of the second vehicle.
