Adair, MO (February 3, 2026) – An accident that resulted in injuries was reported Monday afternoon, February 2, along Strawberry Way, approximately 1.5 miles east of Kirksville in Adair County. The incident occurred around 2:20 p.m. and involved a passenger vehicle and agricultural equipment traveling through the area.
Information released from the scene indicates a 2018 Toyota RAV4 and a New Holland E6050 tractor were involved in the accident. Following the collision, the tractor traveled off the roadway and struck a utility pole, creating additional hazards along the roadside. The Toyota sustained moderate damage and was later removed from the scene by a towing service, while the tractor was able to be driven away.
Emergency responders from Kirksville and Adair County arrived to assist shortly after the accident occurred. Paramedics evaluated those involved and provided care to an adult female driver who suffered a variety of injuries. She was transported by Adair County Ambulance to Northeast Regional Medical Center for further treatment. The adult male operating the tractor was not reported to have been injured.
Traffic in the area was temporarily affected as crews worked alongside the Adair County Sheriff Department and Adair County Fire Department to clear the scene. Authorities continue to review the circumstances surrounding the accident.
