What Happens After a Two-Car Crash at a Busy Intersection?
When a crash happens at an intersection, several factors are reviewed to piece together what occurred. These may include traffic signals, right-of-way rules, and the position of each vehicle after impact. Road conditions and the time of day can also affect visibility and reaction times.
Intersections can be high-risk areas, especially during morning traffic when drivers may be in a hurry. Even low-speed collisions can lead to injuries, depending on the angle of impact and whether seat belts were in use. Vehicle damage, witness statements, and any available camera footage may later help clarify the sequence of events.
