What Risks Are Present in Intersection Collisions?
Intersections, such as those at Flower Street and Washington Boulevard, can create risks due to turning movements. When injuries are reported in Los Angeles, crews often work to stabilize traffic flow.
Crashes at intersections often occur when vehicles enter the crossing area from different directions at the same time. Traffic signals, visibility, and timing can significantly impact the safety of vehicles moving through these locations.
When a collision happens with enough force, vehicles may spin or overturn. A rollover can increase the chance of severe injuries and may also place vehicles in dangerous positions, such as near rail lines or other nearby infrastructure.
