Two-Vehicle Collisions at Urban Intersections Can Cause Serious Damage
Intersections in busy city areas often see frequent traffic conflicts that can lead to serious crashes.
Roadways such as Maple Street carry steady traffic through neighborhoods and commercial areas of Omaha, Nebraska, while cross streets like North 88th Street add additional turning and merging movements.
When vehicles collide at these intersections, the impact force can sometimes cause them to overturn or sustain severe damage. Investigators reviewing crashes in these areas typically examine traffic signals, driver actions, and roadway conditions to determine what factors contributed to the collision.
