What Factors Can Contribute to ATV Crashes on Dirt Paths
ATVs are often used on uneven terrain, where conditions can change quickly. Obstacles such as trees, loose soil, or narrow paths can increase the risk of losing control, especially at higher speeds.
Unlike standard vehicles, ATVs have a higher center of gravity, which makes them more prone to tipping over. Sudden turns or impacts can cause the vehicle to overturn, increasing the risk of serious injuries.
Protective gear and cautious driving can help reduce risks. Riders who stay aware of their surroundings and adjust their speed for terrain conditions may have a better chance of avoiding crashes.
