How Multi-Vehicle Crashes Can Lead to Serious Injuries
Crashes involving several vehicles often result in multiple injuries due to the chain-reaction nature of impacts. Vehicles can collide with each other in quick succession, leaving little time for occupants to react.
Injuries can range from minor cuts and bruises to more serious trauma, depending on the speed and angle of impact. Intersections and areas with higher traffic volumes are common locations for multi-vehicle crashes.
Being alert, maintaining safe following distances, and reducing speed in busy areas can help lower the risk of serious injury during chain-reaction collisions.
