What Factors Contribute to Single-Vehicle Rollover Crashes?
Longer stretches of roadway near Highway 61 and Zachary Avenue may encourage higher speeds. Injury accident responses in Muscatine County often focus on improving scene visibility and managing traffic around the area.
Single-vehicle crashes can occur when a driver loses control, especially at higher speeds or when leaving the roadway. Striking objects, such as signs or raised surfaces, can cause a vehicle to lift off the ground or roll.
Rollover crashes often increase the risk of severe outcomes, particularly if occupants are not fully secured. The combination of speed, impact angle, and terrain can all affect how a crash unfolds and how serious the injuries may be.
