What Factors Can Influence Intersection Crashes Like This?
Crashes at intersections often happen when two vehicles arrive at the same point from different directions. These areas require drivers to judge speed, distance, and right-of-way quickly.
Visibility can also affect how drivers respond. Obstructed views, weather conditions, or low light may make it harder to see approaching traffic. Even a brief delay in reaction can lead to a crash.
Traffic control signs and signals are another key part of intersection safety. Drivers must follow posted signs and remain alert for vehicles that may not yield as expected. Careful driving and reduced speed near intersections can help lower the chance of collisions.
