How Intersection Crashes Happen on Multi-Road Crossings
Crashes at intersections often occur when vehicles enter from different directions at the same time. Timing and visibility can affect how drivers respond in these situations.
Even with traffic controls, drivers may misjudge speed or distance when crossing or turning. This can lead to collisions, especially when one vehicle is already moving through the intersection.
Road layout, signage, and driver attention all influence how safely intersections are navigated. Impacts in these areas can be severe due to crossing paths of travel.
