How Motorcycle Crashes at Intersections Often Result in Severe Injuries
Motorcycles offer little protection to riders compared with cars, making collisions particularly dangerous. Intersections are common crash sites, especially when turning vehicles fail to see oncoming motorcycles.
Even low-speed impacts can lead to serious injuries due to the rider’s exposure. Protective gear, alert driving, and maintaining visibility are critical for motorcycle safety, though accidents may still occur despite these measures due to factors beyond the rider’s control.
