Two Rivers, WI (March 30, 2026) – A two-vehicle crash in Two Rivers on Friday evening resulted in one fatality and left another driver injured after one of the vehicles crashed into a nearby home.

According to the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 5:33 p.m. to the intersection of State Highway 42 and East Hillcrest Road. Authorities say a 2007 Toyota Camry traveling eastbound on East Hillcrest Road failed to stop at a posted stop sign.

The Camry was then struck by a 2014 Kia Sorento traveling southbound on Highway 42. Following the impact, the Camry continued off the roadway and crashed into a residence in the 8100 block of Highway 42, causing minor structural damage.

The driver of the Camry, identified as 20-year-old Adnan Bhatti of Wauwatosa, was transported to Aurora BayCare Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.

The driver of the Kia, identified as 59-year-old Timothy Armstrong of Pennsylvania, was taken to St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay for evaluation and was later released.

Officials stated that alcohol and drugs are not believed to be factors in the crash. The Wisconsin State Patrol is conducting a crash reconstruction as part of the ongoing investigation.

We extend our sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased.

Failure to Stop Can Lead to Severe Crashes

Crashes caused by failure to stop at intersections are often serious due to crossing traffic moving at full speed. When a vehicle enters a roadway without yielding, it can lead to high-impact collisions with little time for other drivers to react.

These types of crashes can also result in secondary impacts, such as vehicles leaving the roadway and striking nearby structures. Intersections require strict attention to traffic signs and right-of-way rules to reduce the risk of severe or fatal outcomes.
