Why Motorcycle Accidents Often Result in Injuries
Motorcycles offer little protection compared to cars, making riders more vulnerable in collisions. Even impacts at moderate speeds can lead to significant injuries, as there is no frame or airbags to absorb the force.
Intersections are common sites for motorcycle crashes, especially when other vehicles fail to yield or misjudge speed and distance. Wearing a helmet and protective gear can reduce injury severity, but collisions still pose a high risk for riders.
Rider awareness, defensive driving, and careful vehicle operation by surrounding drivers are key to preventing motorcycle accidents at busy roads and intersections.
