What Makes Motorcycle Curve Crashes Especially Dangerous?
Longer roadway stretches near Montana Highway 35 can encourage higher speeds, especially in open areas. In regions like Polson, responders often focus on improving visibility and safety after crashes.
Motorcycle crashes on curves can become serious when riders misjudge the turn or lose control. Curves require precise handling, and even small errors can lead to a bike leaving its lane.
Guardrails can prevent vehicles from leaving the roadway, but for motorcyclists, they can still pose a risk during impact. When riders are thrown from their bikes, the chances of severe injury increase, especially at higher speeds.
