Frankfort, KY (April 26, 2026) – A Central Kentucky woman was arrested following an incident involving a McDonald’s manager on Versailles Road in Frankfort late on Thursday night, April 23. Court documents allege the situation began after a parked vehicle owned by the manager was struck in the restaurant lot.
According to the documents, an argument followed the initial collision. Video surveillance reportedly shows the manager standing in front of the suspect’s vehicle, attempting to prevent her from leaving. The vehicle then accelerated forward, striking the manager and knocking her onto the hood.
The suspect, identified as 38-year-old Autumn West, allegedly continued driving with the manager in the vehicle and left the McDonald’s property. The vehicle later traveled to a home on Lyons Drive, located several miles away.
The manager told police she remained on the hood during the drive and that the vehicle was driven at a high rate of speed while attempts were made to dislodge her. Once at Lyons Drive, the manager was reportedly pulled from the vehicle, and a physical altercation followed.
The incident remains under investigation.
We are thinking of the manager and hope she’s okay.
What Types of Incidents Are Reviewed in Vehicle-Assault Cases?
Cases involving pedestrians struck or carried by vehicles often require a detailed review of video footage, witness statements, and physical evidence from multiple locations. Investigators typically examine the initial point of contact, the driver’s subsequent movement, and whether the driver attempted to stop or continued driving.
Medical evaluations are also used to determine the extent of injuries, especially in cases involving prolonged contact with a moving vehicle. In incidents that span multiple locations, law enforcement may reconstruct the timeline using surveillance camera footage, phone records, and roadway evidence. These cases can involve both traffic-related and criminal investigations, depending on the evidence.
