What Is Typically Considered in Two-Vehicle Crash Investigations
When two vehicles are involved in a crash, several factors may be reviewed to understand how the incident occurred. The position of each vehicle, the direction of travel, and the point of impact can help explain how the collision unfolded.
Road conditions and traffic patterns at the time may also provide context. Intersections are common locations for these crashes, especially when vehicles approach from different directions.
Vehicle damage, skid marks, and other physical evidence can offer insight into speed and driver actions before the crash. These details are often used to build a clearer picture of the sequence of events leading up to the collision.
