Semi-Truck and Car Crashes at Intersections
Crashes between semi-trucks and cars can cause serious damage because of the size difference between the vehicles. A car may absorb much of the impact, especially when the crash happens near an intersection.
Intersections can be busy areas where vehicles turn, stop, or cross traffic. When a large truck is involved, blocked lanes and damaged vehicles can slow the response and create traffic delays.
Medical checks are much needed after these crashes, even if injuries are not fully clear at first. People inside smaller vehicles may face a higher risk of head, neck, chest, or leg injuries due to the force of the collision with bigger vehicles.
