South Salt Lake, UT (July 15, 2026) – Emergency and Rescue units were called to the scene of a collision that left two people injured after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of State Street and 2700 South in South Salt Lake.
The collision was reported around 1:50 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, and temporarily closed portions of the surrounding roadway. The crash involved a Ford Bronco and a silver Chevrolet van. The Bronco came to rest tilted on its side following the collision. Two people riding in the van were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The Bronco driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
Road closures remained in place until about 3 p.m. before traffic resumed. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation, and authorities will release more details when available. We are thinking of those injured as they receive medical care.
