Sanger, CA (September 2, 2026) – A two-vehicle crash was reported near North Academy Avenue and East Belmont Avenue on Monday, August 31. The first report came in at about 1:02 p.m. and involved a gray Hyundai Elantra and a white Nissan sedan.
The Hyundai was found resting on its side, while the people involved were outside the vehicles and walking around. A young child was inside one of the vehicles, and medical assistance was requested as a precaution.
The wreck was also creating a roadway obstruction. Emergency units checked those involved, and towing assistance was requested shortly after 1:05 p.m.
The circumstances leading up to the two-vehicle encounter remain under investigation. We hope everyone affected recovers fully.
