Wright County, MN (July 22, 2026) – A 64-year-old driver was injured after a two-vehicle crash on US Highway 12 at mile marker 140 in Franklin Township, Wright County. The collision happened on Tuesday, July 21, at about 12:03 p.m.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2011 Chevrolet Cruze was traveling north and crossing US Highway 12 when it collided with a 2016 Chevrolet Sonic traveling westbound on the highway. Both vehicles had airbags deploy in the crash. The driver of the Chevrolet Sonic, identified as Penny Lynn Klingler of Howard Lake, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Ridgeview Medical Center for treatment.
The driver of the Chevrolet Cruze, identified as Angela Therese Schlosser of Loretto, was not injured. No alcohol involvement was suspected. Road conditions were reported as dry. We wish all those injured a speedy recovery.
