Malibu, CA (August 29, 2026) – Emergency crews responded on Thursday afternoon, August 27, to a two-vehicle crash near Tonga Street by Neptune’s Net in Malibu. The collision was reported at approximately 3:15 p.m.
According to California Highway Patrol dispatch records, a white BMW and a blue Volvo were involved in the crash. The vehicles were blocking traffic lanes after the collision.
Dispatch information indicated that all occupants were out of the vehicles and that some people had been injured. Ventura County Fire Department crews were notified, and an Apple Watch crash alert was also received shortly after the initial report. Investigators remain under review.
