Alexandria, VA (April 17, 2026) – A motorcyclist died following a crash Wednesday afternoon, April 15, on Interstate 495 near Alexandria. The collision occurred shortly before 4:00 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of the Capital Beltway near Telegraph Road.
Emergency units responded to the scene after reports of a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck. Officials said the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene following the impact.
