Anaheim, CA (January 27, 2026) – A multi-vehicle crash on the westbound side of Highway 91 just before Gypsum Canyon Rd in Anaheim resulted in at least one injury Saturday evening. Emergency crews were dispatched around 6:35 p.m. after reports of a collision involving two to three vehicles.
Responders from Anaheim Engine 12 and other support units navigated the area to reach the scene quickly. Initial efforts included turning around near the Green River Rd exit to access the crash site heading westbound. Upon arrival, emergency personnel assessed the situation and confirmed that only one individual had sustained injuries.
Medics provided care on-site, and the patient was later classified as an AMA (Against Medical Advice) case, indicating they declined further medical transport. With the scene stabilized and the number of injuries confirmed, additional responding units were canceled, and traffic control was coordinated to prevent further disruption on the busy corridor.
The incident occurred just before the Gypsum Canyon Rd off-ramp, a stretch known for congestion and high-speed merging. Authorities are continuing to review circumstances leading up to the crash, though no further hazards or ongoing delays have been reported as of this update.
We extend our best wishes to the person injured in this crash and hope for their full and timely recovery.
