Asheville, NC (January 11, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a vehicle accident with reported injuries on Friday afternoon on Hendersonville Road near the Biscuit Head restaurant in Asheville. The incident occurred at approximately 1:16 p.m., prompting a rapid response from EMS and fire personnel.
Initial reports indicated that two individuals were injured in the crash. Medical 11 and EMS Unit 5 were among the first on scene, and a second ambulance was requested shortly afterward to assist with patient care and transport. At this time, the severity of the injuries has not been confirmed, but both individuals were treated on-site.
There were no immediate reports of fire associated with the collision, and the number of vehicles involved has not yet been disclosed.
Traffic along Hendersonville Rd was temporarily impacted as crews worked to assist the injured and clear the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
