Aurora, CO (January 21, 2026) – An accident at the intersection of E 6th Ave and N Dearborn St early on January 21 resulted in at least one person being evaluated for injuries, prompting a coordinated response from both fire and police units.
Engine 9, already in the area, arrived at the scene alongside Aurora Police after reports of a collision involving at least two vehicles. The crash occurred just before dawn in a busy corridor of east Aurora, not far from local residential areas and commuter routes.
Emergency personnel assessed the scene and rendered aid to those involved. One individual was confirmed to have suffered injuries, though the full extent has not been disclosed. The intersection was temporarily impacted as responders worked to clear the roadway and assist the injured.
Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the cause of the accident. Updates on the injured party’s condition have not yet been made public.
