Aurora, CO (January 25, 2026) – Emergency crews in Aurora responded early Saturday morning to a traffic collision with reported injuries near East 40th Ave, in the vicinity of a local hotel, possibly the Econo Lodge. The crash was reported around 3:14 a.m., prompting a response from Engine 3 and other supporting units.
First responders arrived to find multiple vehicles involved in a collision with visible damage. Medics and fire personnel worked to assist individuals suffering from a variety of injuries, though the exact number of people hurt and the severity of those injuries were not immediately confirmed. Emergency medical services remained on scene to assess the victims and initiate transport as needed.
The incident occurred near the cross street of 40th Circle and caused a temporary disruption to traffic in the area as crews worked to secure the scene.
