Baltimore, MD (January 12, 2026) – A serious vehicle collision near E Hoffman St and N Luzerne Ave early Saturday morning left one person trapped and another fleeing the scene, according to local emergency reports.
The crash occurred just after midnight around 12:14 a.m. A silver vehicle was found at the scene emitting smoke, with visible debris scattered across the roadway. Emergency crews responded swiftly, locating one individual trapped inside the vehicle. Medical personnel worked to safely extricate the person and provide urgent care.
Witnesses reported that a second individual, believed to be involved in causing the crash, fled the scene on foot. He was last seen wearing a red jacket. Authorities launched an immediate search of the surrounding area in an effort to locate the suspect.
The collision caused disruptions to local traffic as first responders worked at the scene. The condition of the trapped individual has not been disclosed, and the incident remains under investigation by local law enforcement.
