Why Motorcycle Crashes Can Lead to Fatal Injuries
Motorcycle crashes often result in serious injuries because riders lack the protection that cars provide. Even a single-vehicle crash, such as striking a guardrail, can cause severe harm due to direct impact.
Helmets and protective gear can reduce the risk of head injuries, but other factors like speed, road conditions, and sudden loss of control also affect outcomes. Highways can present added risks due to higher speeds and limited space to recover after a mistake.
