Barrington, NY (May 19, 2026) – A Penn Yan woman was airlifted to a Rochester hospital Monday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash on State Rte 14A in the Town of Barrington.
The collision happened around 3 p.m. north of Welker Road. Investigators said 68-year-old Georgia Ryan was attempting to leave the driveway of Community Feed when her vehicle was struck by a southbound vehicle driven by 68-year-old Douglas Ingram of Dundee.
Emergency units responded to the scene and provided medical assistance to those involved. Ryan was flown by helicopter to Strong Memorial Hospital with injuries that were described as undetermined at the time of the report.
Officials said Ingram was evaluated at the scene by medical personnel. The roadway was impacted while emergency crews assisted victims and investigated the crash scene on Monday afternoon.
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the collision, and more details will be released as they become available.
