Bedford Heights, OH (January 28, 2026) – A two-vehicle accident in Bedford Heights resulted in injuries early on Wednesday morning, as reported by local scanner channels. The crash occurred around 1:45 a.m. at the intersection of Solon Rd and Randolph Rd, during a time when winter conditions impacted roadway access.
Responding crews faced additional challenges due to the hill in the area not being adequately plowed, hindering their approach to the scene. Despite these difficulties, emergency personnel made their way to the crash site and tended to those injured.
At least two vehicles were involved in the collision. While specific details about the number of individuals hurt have not been released, medics on the scene provided care to those involved. One or more individuals may have required further medical evaluation beyond the scene, though no official transport information has been confirmed at this time.
Both vehicles sustained visible damage, and authorities closed off a portion of the intersection while first responders worked to secure the area and begin preliminary investigations. Weather and road conditions are being considered as contributing factors.
The Bedford Heights Police Department is managing the investigation, and further updates are expected as more information becomes available. Our thoughts are with all who were affected in this early-morning accident.
