Berrien Center, MI (January 12, 2026) – A 21-year-old man was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle on Sunday evening in Berrien County, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident occurred shortly after 8 p.m. on Huntly Rd near Reese Dr. Deputies say the pedestrian, identified as Jordan Gillaspy, was walking southbound in the lane of travel wearing dark clothing when he was hit by a vehicle also traveling southbound.

The driver, identified as 36-year-old Stephanie Clark of Berrien Center, remained at the scene following the crash. Emergency responders transported Gillaspy to a nearby hospital for treatment. His condition was not immediately released by officials.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office has not disclosed whether any charges are pending or if an investigation is underway into the circumstances of the crash.
