Norfolk, NE (August 28, 2026) – A bicyclist was injured after a pickup struck a car making a left turn and then veered into the cyclist at 1st Street and Benjamin Avenue on Thursday morning, August 27, according to a witness. The pickup had been heading east on Benjamin Avenue around 7:50 a.m. when it struck a northbound car turning left, then veered right and hit the bicyclist at the intersection’s southeast corner.
The bicyclist was placed in an ambulance, and a LifeNet helicopter also responded before departing the area around 8:35 a.m.
